Rid A Pest Inc. was started in 1972. We currently have office locations in Wilson, Morehead City, and Greenville; with technicians equipped to service any location for any pest. We employ only quality technicians and provide continuing education during their employment to ensure our customers that their homes and businesses are serviced by the best. We use only the most recent technology, focusing on environmentally friendly techniques and procedures to ensure that your family and pets live in a pest-free environment.

We are honored to be a part of many local organizations including Carteret County Homebuilders Association, Carteret County Association of Realtors, and have many of our staff volunteering as coaches and sponsors of local little league baseball teams in both Beaufort and Morehead City. We also are proud to be active members of both the North Carolina Pest Management Association and the National Pest Management Association.

Our staff consists of Registered, Certified, and Licensed technicians all of whom are vetted by NCDA to perform the work we provide. We are also the only local company that employs a local on-site/on-staff Entomologist. These highly trained and qualified technicians allow us to provide outstanding services to our customers.

We were chosen as the 2012 Outrageous Customer Service recipient by the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce and have also been voted Highest in Customer Satisfaction among pest control companies in this area.

Rid A Pest is a second-generation company that was started by Les Smith, but is now owned and operated by his sons, Lee and Jamie Smith. Lee and Jamie continue in the tradition of the family by providing great service, great pricing, and focus on customer satisfaction. For over 40 years this dedication has served Eastern North Carolina.
